Which balloons can be filled with helium?

All balloons in our online store are helium quality and can be filled with helium. You can decorate your party with plain balloons, colorful themed balloons, confetti balloons, balloon garlands, number balloons, themed balloons in shapes, airwalkers, etc. There are no limits to your decoration ideas.

How many balloons can be filled with helium? And how long do they fly?

The number of balloons naturally depends on the size of the balloons. The smaller the balloon, the more balloons can be filled.

The floating time depends on the type of balloon. Foil balloons float longer than air balloons (latex balloons).

The following table provides some guidelines.

Latex balloons (30 cm): approx. 15-20 balloons - approx. 12 hours flight time

Step-by-step instructions for optimal results

Ideally, fill with helium shortly before use to maximize flight hours
When filling, make sure that the
Balloon gas bottle stands stable and cannot tip over.
Remove the black valve cap from the bottle.

where the valve cap was removed. No tools are required. Simply screw it on hand-tight. Caution:
Little remaining thread always remains visible, the valve cannot be turned to the end.
Unscrew the green screw cap on top of the helium cylinder completely. No gas should escape at this point.
Pull the neck of a helium balloon over the black rubber valve and press it tightly against the valve.
Carefully push the balloon neck and the black rubber valve down or up until the helium flows into the balloon.
Fill the balloon to the desired size. But be careful: Do not fill it completely! If the outside temperature rises, the helium can expand and cause the balloon to burst.
Then simply tie the latex balloon in a knot or tie it with the included balloon string. Helium balloons usually close on their own.
After filling the balloons, close the balloon gas bottle with the green screw cap and then replace the valve protection cap for transport and storage.

Properties of helium:

Helium is a non-toxic noble gas
It is colorless, tasteless and odorless.
Helium is 7x lighter than air, so it floats
Important: Do not inhale helium! The gas can lead to a lack of oxygen to the brain and, in the worst case, suffocation.

The bottles are resealable
The helium can last for several years
Store gas cylinders in a cool, dry place and keep them away from heat sources, direct sunlight and flames
Well-ventilated rooms are ideal.

Disposal:

The gas cylinder is a disposable container and cannot be refilled.
It can be recycled with scrap iron.
Empty the bottle completely before disposing of it.

Fragen und Antworten zum Produkt

Die Anzahl hängt von der Ballongröße ab. Mit einer 0,2m³ Flasche kannst Du etwa 25-30 Latexballons à 25 cm oder 14-15 Folienballons à 45 cm befüllen. Beachte, dass größere Ballons mehr Helium benötigen und die Schwebedauer variieren kann.

Die Schwebedauer variiert je nach Ballonart und -größe. Latexballons (25 cm) schweben ca. 5-10 Stunden, während Folienballons (45 cm) bis zu 7 Tage in der Luft bleiben können. Faktoren wie Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit beeinflussen die Schwebezeit.

Stelle die Heliumflasche auf eine stabile, ebene Fläche. Entferne die Ventilschutzkappe und schraube das Abfüllventil handfest auf. Ziehe den Ballonhals über das Ventil und drücke es vorsichtig nach unten, um Helium einzufüllen. Fülle den Ballon nicht vollständig, da sich Helium bei Wärme ausdehnt und der Ballon platzen könnte.

Stelle sicher, dass die Flasche vollständig entleert ist. Beschrifte sie mit 'LEER' und entsorge sie bei einer Altmetallsammelstelle oder gemäß den örtlichen Vorschriften für Metallabfälle. So trägst Du zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung bei.

Es ist ratsam, Ballons erst kurz vor der Veranstaltung zu befüllen, da Latexballons nur wenige Stunden schweben. Folienballons haben eine längere Schwebedauer, können aber ebenfalls an Helium verlieren. Für optimale Ergebnisse befülle die Ballons am Tag der Feier.
