Buy vs. rent
Basically, you have to differentiate in our shipping whether you want to buy or rent items or both.
We therefore differentiate our shipping depending on the type of item in the order.

With party crates for rent, you can choose between delivery by post or collection. (All information on free collection can be found here).

The shipping method to be selected for party crates for rent depends on the time of your order.

Time of the order

When delivery / collection?
You will receive your party box(es) for rent including all party items ordered at least 2 working days before your party*.
Delivery
If you selected delivery when placing your order, you will receive your party box(es) including all purchased party items by post at least 2 working days before your party. You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking code as soon as we have shipped your party box*.
Example: If the party is on a Saturday, the delivery will arrive on Thursday at the latest.
Collection
If you selected pick-up when you placed your order, you will receive a pick-up notification no later than 2 working days before your party. We usually make the party boxes available for collection 2-5 working days before the party.
*Exception to "at the latest 2 days before the party":
Party boxes ordered at short notice (less than 1 week before the party) may arrive at shorter notice, as we have to plan packing capacities of employees at short notice and postal delivery times have to be taken into account.

Bought invitations?
Did you include invitations in your party box order? Then we'll send them to you the next working day after your order - postage free for you.

Bought party items?
Have you ordered party items in addition to your party crate rental? Then we will send you the party articles together with your party crate or make them available for collection together with the party crate.
Would you like to receive your party items earlier?
We will be happy to send you your party items in advance - postage paid. Simply get in touch with us.
important
In the unlikely event that something goes wrong with the postal delivery of the party boxes and the tracking system of the post office indicates, for example, that the parcel has not been delivered or something similar, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate with the post office.

Returns
Return procedure
- With checklist to tick off, pack all items
- No need to wash the costumes
- Fill in and stick on the address label
- No later than 2 days after your party - dispatch by post
- B Mail / PostPac Economy is sufficient
- Alternatively, return in person no later than 5 days after the party.
- We will check your return for completeness and defects
- Final e-mail
Time of return shipment
The party boxes must be returned no later than 2 working days after the party or no later than 5 days after the party.
Please return the party boxes in good time so that the next party can take place on time and no birthday child is disappointed.
In the event of late return, we will unfortunately have to charge CHF 20 / day compensation. The date of the proof of posting applies.

A parcel address label, on which our address is already entered, is enclosed with the order. Please keep the proof of postage in case a parcel is lost.
Who bears the return costs?
The return costs are borne by the renter. Shipping with PostPac Economy (B Mail) is sufficient.
Return in person?
Alternatively, the goods can be returned to us. Have you already collected the party box? Then you can simply put it back where you picked it up. If the party box has been delivered, please contact us and we will discuss the location with you.
What happens if items are missing or defective?
Please make sure that the party boxes are complete when you return them. A checklist is enclosed with each party box for you to tick off.
Normal wear and tear is included in the rental price.
However, if an excessive number of items are defective or missing, or if the costumes have been drawn on with Edding, acrylic pens or felt-tip pens, for example, and can no longer be cleaned, we reserve the right to charge for this.
Cancellation
Rental crates can be canceled free of charge up to 1 week before the party.
We will pack and ship your party crate 1 week before your party. As this is a rental, party crates can no longer be canceled once they have been shipped and 100% of the rental price is due.
But of course we understand if children fall ill and the party has to be canceled. We will work with you to find a solution.
