Belle loves books more than anything and reads everywhere and all the time and has no eyes for Gaston.
Gaston has therefore hidden Belle's books so that she has more eyes for him.
- Hide lots of books around the house and let the children search for them.
- When all the books have been found: How tall will your pile of books be before it falls over?
- Alternative for older children: book relay race. Divide the children into 2 groups, each group receives as many books as there are children in the group. One child per group runs off with a book and places it on the floor at the end of the course, or later on the stack of books. Whoever has stacked all the books first wins.
- Belle's story
As Belle loves books, her story is read out in short form. Whenever Belle's name is read out, all the children have to stand up and find a new place. With older children, each child can take on a role and must take on a role when it is mentioned. E.g. While searching for her father, Belle ends up in an enchanted castle with living dishes and furniture. - Escape from the castle
Belle wants to escape from the castle. Can you do it?
To do this, set up two rows of chairs and connect the chairs with garlands of crepe at different heights. Now the children have to climb through the rows of crepe without touching the ribbons to escape the castle

Divide the children into two groups. One group gets Beast buttons, one group gets Gaston buttons. During a song from the movie, the children try to stick the buttons on the backs of the opposing team. Whoever has more glue on their back at the end wins.
- The fading rose
The beast can only turn back into the beautiful prince if the beast manages to be loved by a girl despite his appearance before the rose fades. The children sit in a circle and pluck out the petals of an artificial rose, shouting together: "we can do it", "we can't do it" to redeem the Beast.

- Belle ball
The children are allowed to dance in the ballroom, suddenly the music stops, an adult plays the beast and screams Roaaarrrrrr. All the ball guests freeze. The last one to move is eliminated.
