When to send invitations?
When is the ideal time for an invitation is a very individual question and depends on the personal environment. What is far too early for one group of friends may be far too late for another.
Nevertheless, experience shows that invitations that are sent out months before the birthday party usually end up in a corner, remain unanswered and are forgotten. However, if the invitation is only distributed very shortly before the birthday, there is a risk that the guests have already made plans. So good advice is expensive.
We recommend sending the invitation 3-4 weeks before the birthday party. This way, there is a good chance that the guests will not already be busy with games or similar. There is enough time for feedback from the guests and to adapt the preparations accordingly. And, as we all know, anticipation is the greatest joy for younger guests.
If this is too early for you, you can consider informing the guests about 3-4 weeks in advance with a save the date so that the date is reserved and have your child personally distribute an invitation card to their friends later.
But ultimately, of course, it has to be right for you and suit your child and circle of friends.
